Mark Wilby

President

Mark Wilby has spent 35 years in the energy sector in the areas of engineering, strategic planning, acquisitions/divestitures, project development, and commercial management. Mr. Wilby has held senior management roles across a wide spectrum of the energy space, including deepwater drilling in the GOM, North Sea and West Africa with Sonat Offshore, pipeline planning, development and deregulation with Tenneco Gas Pipeline, and development and commercial operations of power generation and LNG projects throughout the US, Asia, Central America and the Caribbean with Enron International and Shell Oil. Across his career, Mr. Wilby has managed teams resulting in the successful development, financing, construction, commercial start-up and operations of over 2,600 MW of natural gas and renewable power generation projects and 3,100 miles of gas and liquids pipelines, totaling over $6 billion in assets in 9 different countries. Mr. Wilby holds degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Business Administration from Texas A&M University.

Donnie Vereide

Executive Vice President

Donald Vereide is an accomplished project development and technology commercialization professional with over 35 years of diverse experience in petroleum engineering, renewable energy technologies, business development, project development, and technology commercialization. As VP of Business Development at Geostock Sandia, Mr. Vereide spearheaded the North American growth and development of the company for the underground storage and subsurface injection businesses, and managed large, private and government-funded projects involving crude oil and NGL storage, brine disposal, CO2 sequestration/EOR wells, and salt cavern closure and remediation. As the Director of Technology Ventures at ConocoPhillips, Mr. Vereide led the valuation, development, and management of pre-commercial upstream energy-related technologies and has expertise in corporate venture capital, IP management, commercial contracts and technology valuation. In ConocoPhillips’ Alternative Energy Business, Mr. Vereide managed investment projects in renewable energy technologies including wind, storage, and geothermal and successfully permitted and developed the first commercial-sized isothermal CAES facility in Texas. Mr. Vereide holds degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Matthew Wilby

Vice President

Matthew Wilby has been an engineer in the upstream/midstream oil and gas sector for over 10 years, in the areas of well completions, storage cavern evaluations and midstream logistics. Mr. Wilby most recently worked at Chesapeake Energy, where he served as a Completions Engineer with responsibility for designing, budgeting, contracting and implementing more than 50 projects in Texas (Eagle Ford), Louisiana (Haynesville) and Oklahoma (Anadarko), including the largest horizontal well fracture treatment in Louisiana at the time. Mr. Wilby holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
